1997. The beginning.

Back in 1997 our founder, Helen Lazara, unexpectedly found herself moving 2,500 miles across the country to a quaint college town in rural Pennsylvania, leaving behind a job she loved at a large technology company.  Recognizing that the move was an opportunity rather than an end, she founded IP Services and her former employer became her very first client.  As the IPS client roster grew, so too did the staff, eventually expanding from a home office, to a small office suite, and now to remote work locations plus two office locations near Lake Erie to accommodate our ~100 employees.

In January 2019, Helen officially handed the reins over to long-time IPS team member, Scott Yeager.  As one of Helen's first hires, Scott has been instrumental in shaping the company into what it is today. With an engineering degree from Penn State, Scott brings a methodical, quantitative eye to solving business problems, while his personal perspective of a husband and a dad to three kids growing up in the Internet-age shapes his vision for protection, privacy, and safeguarding.
