1997. The start of something life-changing.

Beginning with a 2,500 mile journey across the United States to a quaint college town in rural Pennsylvania, our founder, Helen Lazara, started IPS in her home. She had just left a job she loved at a large technology company. Recognizing that the move was an opportunity rather than an end, she founded IP Services and in that context was able to provide expanded support for her former employer and new clients. Before she knew it, she was hiring a second - third - fourth employee to keep up with the work. Eventually, she opened her own office in town. Within a short time, IPS outgrew that small office suite and found a new place to call home, which remains our headquarters today.

Now, over 20 years later, our team has grown to nearly 100 and expanded to include remote work locations and additional offices near Lake Erie.

On January 1, 2019, our founder officially handed the reins over to our new President, Scott Yeager. Scott was one of Helen's first hires and has been instrumental in shaping the company we are today. We know his dedication and strong leadership will continue to steer us into the future.

While our work has changed and evolved throughout the years, one thing has stayed constant - our ambition and drive to make a difference.

And what's the best part of IPS? The people, of course! But the fully stocked kitchen sure feels good, too!
